Impact Resistance
Our double traffic rails are engineered to handle a force of 30kN—equivalent to the impact from a 3-ton vehicle traveling at 7.2km/h (as specified in section 3.8a,i of AS NZS 11170). For even greater protection, our single traffic barriers can endure up to 40kN of force.
GuardX traffic rails are built with robust 3mm steel rails, 6mm steel structural columns, and 15mm steel base plates. This construction ensures that the barriers can effectively absorb impact forces in various workplace scenarios.
Each rail in our barrier system is supported by a post at the end, enhancing strength and providing protection to the most vulnerable areas.

Ease Of Installation
GuardX traffic barriers feature an easy-to-assemble modular design with a bolt-together construction. Each post base is securely anchored to the ground using four standard Dynabolts.
We offer 10 standard rail lengths to meet a wide range of warehouse and industrial traffic barrier needs across New Zealand.

High Impact Strengh
The single rail traffic barrier is designed to handle impacts from smaller to medium-sized vehicles with a low centre of gravity. For areas prone to higher centre of gravity impacts or pedestrian walkways near impact zones, the double rail barrier offers enhanced protection.
Additionally, the lower rail is strategically positioned to serve as a stop for standard pallets.
Barrier Fixing And Coating Options
- Finish Options: Powder-coated, Galvanised, or Powder-coated over Galvanised.
- Pre-Drilled and Tapped: Centre and end posts are pre-drilled and tapped on two sides, with plugs provided for any extra holes.
- Included Hardware: Comes with rail mounting bolts and anchor bolts for secure floor installation.
